Hikes

Hiking paradise at lake Millstatt | 2 national parks

Hiking amidst the most beautiful natural scenery. Lake Millstatt is nestled between two national parks: the national park Nockberge and the national park Hohe Tauern. All this results in amazing hiking landscapes with incredible views that no other region has. Many hikes start directly from the hotel, with others only a short journey by car or our local lake & mountain taxi. Lake Millstatt is at an altitude of 600m, the Millstätter alp at an altitude of 2000m

POSTALM- FAMILY EXCURSIONS TO THE HOTEL'S OWN ALPINE HUT

We regularly visit our hotel's own alpine hut at 1400m altitude on Millstätter Berg in various ways. Together with the caretakers the family hike is a piece of cake, the adults walk directly from the hotel through the gorge or by mountain bike across the high plateau. The hut is quaint and idyllic.
